Chris Pratt Posts Christmas Special Photos Of BTS From Guardians Of The Galaxy

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special TV series recently arrived on Disney+ and Chris Pratt made sure to celebrate the occasion. The actor took to Instagram of him and shared a series of clips and behind-the-scenes photos from the set of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Pratt, who plays the role of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, got a 360-degree look at the decorated set while donning the costume.

He was also seen in a tent, analyzing the collaborators on the special, including Dave Bautista and Bacon. The Guardians of the Galaxy star also shared a photo of Bacon posing with three costumed cast members and a photo of Pom Klementieff in a holiday-themed green ensemble. Alongside the photos of bts, Chris wrote in the caption, “Just a few sneak peeks behind the scenes filming our Christmas special with none other than legendary hero Kevin Bacon.”

He added that the special “now airs on @disneyplus.” Meanwhile, the plot of the Christmas special follows Mantis and Drax as they journey to Earth to kidnap Bacon as a Christmas present for Quill, played by Chris Pratt, an ardent fan of Bacon’s film Footloose. Bacon spoke with Marvel.com on Friday about his surreal reaction to seeing the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie when it hit theaters in August 2014.

“I went to Guardians opening weekend just for the afternoon and had no idea what was coming up,” Bacon told the outlet. “If you can imagine sitting there and listening to Peter start talking about you when you’re already deeply entrenched in this movie and not just that, it’s one thing if it was a normal romantic comedy and someone made a reference in passing, but when it’s another real universe, it’s quite an out-of-body experience.

Bacon said he told his wife Kyra Sedgwick, 57, about the film: “I told her, ‘There’s a little surprise, but I’m not going to tell you what it is.'” ‘It’s just one of those moments where you’re gone, boy, my life is pretty strange sometimes.’ Meanwhile, director James Gunn told Marvel that Bacon is his “favorite MCU character” and that he “would be really disappointed” if Bacon wasn’t cast as an Avenger in the future.
