Selena Gomez turned 30 this year and the singer is having fun with her friends over the weekend. Although the singer has yet to share photos and videos from the night out, her friends shared a glimpse on her social media accounts. The Spring Breakers star seemed enchanted in photos and videos shared of her on Instagram that showed her in a beautiful cream dress lined with feathers. Selena’s birthday dress was decorated with sparkly sequins and her sleeveless sack dress was decorated with a high neck.
The elegant ensemble featured soft white feathers lining the skirt. Selena wore her dark hair pulled back and splayed over her shoulders, highlighting her modestly sized hoop earrings and striking cat-eye makeup. Selena smiled in a hilarious snapshot posted by her friend. In a video posted to Tividad’s Instagram Stories, Selena closed her eyes and slowly danced with just her arms, before appearing self-conscious and bursting out laughing.
Pop star Camila Cabello posted a cute photo of a cake with a childhood photo of Selena in Barny printed on it. The event featured gorgeous black and white portraits of guests, and several friends posted beautiful pictures of Selena that were taken for the party. Among those in attendance was the Wizards Of Waverly Place star’s good friend, Francia Raisa, who donated one of her kidneys to Selena, who suffers from lupus.
Previously, Selena used her Instagram to share some photos of her and her best friend Taylor Swift. Gomez is beaming at the first snap as she wraps her arm around Swift, who is holding up three fingers to signify Selena’s 30th birthday. Selena can’t stop laughing in the second photo, while Taylor reaches for a selfie and gives the camera a thumbs up. “30 nerdy and dignified,” Gomez captioned the photo, which appears to be a mockery of the ’13 Going On 30′ tagline ’30 flirty and prosperous’.
Gomez also took to her Instagram story to express her gratitude to her fans who showered love and compassion on her special day. The singer wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Thank you so much for all the birthday love!!” She also stated that her ‘biggest wish is donations to the Rare Impact Fund to support mental health’, which is an initiative she started as part of Rare Beauty’s focus on mental health.
